West Coast Study Club has it’s humble beginnings in 1999. The founder, Dr. Jin Kim, had just completed a three-year residency to become a specialist periodontist. By then he has had combined 9-years of clinical experience as a general dentist. Having had his early career started in teaching, research, private practice, and medical mission work, he had founded his first dental study club with clinical forte. It was called Orange County Dental Implant Institute. Through the organization, many clinicians shared knowledge of dental implants and spend numerous hours discussing and debating methods to provide better dentistry.
