Dr. Yesenia Garcia is a second generation Board-Certified Orthodontist in the United States with over 21 years of clinical experience. She is widely respected for her deep clinical knowledge, leadership, and long-standing contribution to the orthodontic community.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Garcia is an experienced and engaging lecturer who has spoken at numerous orthodontic and dental conferences for over 10 years at National and International conferences. Her ability to translate complex orthodontic concepts into clear, practical insights makes her a highly sought-after speaker among clinicians.

Dr. Yesenia Garcia is naturally from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. She obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the School of Dentistry of the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2004. After she became a General Dentist, Dr. Garcia moved to Houston, Texas where she spent one year practicing general dentistry and restoring many patients with advanced dental problems at the University of Texas, Houston Dental Branch at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program. In 2005 she went to Jacksonville, Florida to pursue her dream of becoming an orthodontist. Dr. Garcia completed two years of specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2007 at Jacksonville University, School of Orthodontics. Dr. Garcia has also completed a Masters Program on treating patients with clear aligners, as well as has been trained by Board Certified Sleep Medicine Doctors on Pediatric and Adult Sleep Apnea since 2008. She is trained in the latest techniques and cutting edge technology in orthodontics, and uses the most modern materials to move teeth efficiently with less discomfort to the patients.

Dr. Garcia has a special passion for dentofacial orthopedics and sleep medicine, and is one of the few Orthodontists in Houston that treats complex dentofacial deformities following a multidisciplinary approach not only with Prosthodontists, Periodontists, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, but also with other medical professionals such as ENT, Speech therapists as well as Sleep Disorders professionals. 

Dr. Garcia practices at her two private practices in West University and in Pearland, is the founder of the Houston Orthodontic Study Club, and is the CEO of Klear Smile Dental and Kim’s Orthodontic Laboratory.
